Terms of sale.

These terms cover everything you buy from us. They sit alongside your rights under Nigerian consumer law, which nothing here takes away.

Who you are buying from

Mose Essence is the trading name of Mose by ERM, a business registered in Nigeria under business name number BN 7215513, based in Abuja, Nigeria.

When your order becomes an order

Placing an order is an offer to buy, not yet a sale. The sale is made when we confirm your order by email. Until then, either of us can walk away.

We may decline an order — if a piece has just sold, if we cannot reach you about your address, or if a payment looks irregular. If we decline after you have paid, you are refunded in full.

Prices

Prices are in Nigerian naira and include everything except delivery, which is calculated separately and shown before you pay.

If a price is displayed wrongly, we will tell you before doing anything else, and you can either pay the correct price or cancel for a full refund. We will not quietly charge you the difference.

Paying

Payment is taken at checkout through Paystack. We never see or hold your card details.

Delivery

Delivery is charged at the courier's price, shown to you at checkout before you pay. Timings, customs duty and what happens to a lost parcel are all set out on the delivery page.

Returns

We do not accept returns for a change of mind. If a piece reaches you faulty, tell us within 48 hours with photographs and you may have a refund or a replacement. The returns page sets out how, and what happens next.

The pieces themselves

Every piece is made in a small run and finished by hand. Slight variation between one piece and another — in a weave, a shade, the fall of a hem — is the nature of the cloth rather than a fault.

Colours on a screen are never exact. We photograph each piece as faithfully as we can, but your screen is not ours, and a small difference in shade is not a fault.

Sizes run XS to 4XL. Please use the size guide before ordering, and write to us if you are between sizes.

Our photographs and designs

The photographs, words and designs on this site belong to Mose by ERM. Please do not reproduce them, or copy a design, without our written permission.

Your rights

Nothing in these terms removes the rights Nigerian consumer law gives you, including your rights under the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018 where a piece is defective or is not what was described.

Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and any dispute goes to the courts of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

Before it ever reaches that, please write to us. Almost everything is settled with a message.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version on this page when you order is the one that applies to your order.
